Are these of interest to pursue?

Austin, thanks for your suggestions. Your time and effort in putting forth these thoughts are appreciated.

Based on experiences of some members of the group, including my own, it seems futile to think that any form of complaints to church leaders will be effective. I have seen and heard frustration from many on the success of these efforts. This frustration only serves to drain our energy and weaken resolve to accomplishing our mission.

Rather, positive steps will enervate us and reward those clerics and institutions that are following and teaching Catholic Orthodoxy.

Supporting such clerics and institutions with our time, talent and treasure would, in my opinion, be a more valuable and rewarding use of our efforts.

Recall that the Catholic Church and Catholic Teachings in Poland during World War II were maintained through simple, heroic acts. Pope St. John Paul II, for example, would participate in clandestine theater that kept the Faith alive.

I would like to suggest that we compile a list of those entities that we believe follow Catholic Orthodoxy. We could then discuss how we can support them in continuing their dedication to the One True Faith.

For instance, I have much enthusiasm for the Traditional Latin Mass at the Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori and the homilies of the priests at the Shrine. Also, I admire the philosophy and curriculum at the Chesterton Academy of Annapolis.

Your thoughts and feedback would be most welcome.

I know I am new and I haven't got to know anyone yet, but here are 2 items I wonder if are worth looking into.

1-Are there any unknown priests who may still be covering up any knowledge of sister Anne's murder depicted in the Netflix series "the Keepers?" I casually know a brother who is related to  either her or one of the other abuse victims, but I have not asked him more.

2-During the summer someone told me they heard there was a retreat for gay priests, that I think was near the Turf Club or Marriottsville area.  I was too busy at the time to follow up, but it seems to me that if we can get confirmation of something like that is actually occuring, then we would have a strong case to present a letter to the bishop in protest of such events and/or alert  the local churches nearby. I lodged a similar alert when Fr. James Martin was supposed to present at the Faulkner Retreat House in southern Maryland last year--even if it was supposedly via online.
